BUCKET BALL DIY GAME - SETUP & DIRECTIONS

Short Carnival Savers video/gif shows a boy who wins this game with all three tosses!

Supplies for this Game:

bullet point 2 Large Wood Round Crates or Buckets as shown above
bullet point Cut Wood Boards and nails built by a woodworking volunteer (This acts as supports to build game as shown above)
bullet point Assorted Paint or other decorations - optional
bullet point 12 or more Rubber Baseballs or 5 inch Spike Balls
bullet point Stand Behind lines using sidewalk chalk, masking type tape or traffic cones
bullet point Ticket Box and Game Sign
bullet point Fair Prizes - Inexpensive carnival prizes for non-winners - top prizes for winners (See Discount Fair Prize Ideas Below!)

Game Setup:

Before the carnival, set up this game and have plenty of tossing balls.

Tip: It is a great idea to have this game placed where there is a backstop or a wall to prevent the balls from bouncing and rolling all over the fair.

Decide your stand behind line for the players. You may wish to allow younger players to stand closer to make the game easier for the little ones!

How to Play This Game:

Each player is given 3 balls for a chance to get one of the balls to land and stay in a bucket.

Quick Tip: - For younger children, place one ball in each bucket - this makes it easier for a ball that is tossed into the bucket to not bounce back out!

PRIZES:

None of the balls stay in any buckets - they receive a small toy type prize
One or more balls land and stay in a bucket they receive a winner's prize.

If you choose, you can have the very last bucket allow winners to win a top prize - as this is difficult to achieve.

Additional Hints & Tips:

Safety Note: This booth is popular for everyone and small children as it is at their level - so a fun game to try.

It is a good idea to have individual bags of animal crackers or other toddler safe toys items on hand. If a toddler wins, let the parents decide if the little one receives the top prize or a prize suitable for their age.
