Supplies Needed for Carnival Game - Apple Challenge: 9 Harvest Baskets weighted on the bottom with a small bags of sand, or dried beans
Two different colors/styles of light-wieght balls to toss - for fall we suggest foam Apples and foam Smiley balls (Note: the apples just sold out - you can substituted Pumpkins and make this a Pumpkin Challege Game)
Carnival Prizes – consolation, and medium/top prizes How to Play: Line up the baskets in three rows of three. This Game is played just like tick tack toe with two players.
One Player is given 6 Apples, the other 6 Smile Face Balls. The player with the Apples always goes first. Players take turn trying to get three in a row. (Just like the Tick Tac Toe Game)
If one player tosses his piece into a basket where the other player has his piece the first piece stays and the second one is removed.
The first player to get three in a row wins the top prize – the other player receives the consolation prize.
If nobody wins, they both receive a consolation prize. Note: this is great fun, especially for the older kids!Choose a neat top prize (possibly one for girls one for boys) remember, there is no middle prize for this game!
